Pathways to Competition

Whether you’re curious about your first competition or aiming for state and national level, archery offers a clear pathway to help you progress.

Every archer’s journey is different, but if competition is your goal, there’s a structured path that takes you from beginner through to elite performance.

AndIt all starts at your local club.

How the Competitive Pathway Works

Before you worry about rankings or state teams, it helps to understand how progression actually works. The competitive pathway is built in stages, each one building your skills, confidence, and experience.

It’s Not One-Size-Fits-All

Not everyone wants to compete, and that’s completely fine.  Archery is a lifelong sport, and many people choose to stay at club level or shoot recreationally. You can move in and out of the competition pathway at any time.
